Morning Briefing (2004-11-29)

Today, in Lincoln, UK, it looks like there are broken clouds with a current temperature of about 6.9°C. Overall for today though, it’ll be more of the same but warm a bit to an average of 69°C.

News

Globally, there are things and stuff going on. More locally, however, there are plans to do things and even stuff.

Taking a slight tangent from both global and local news sources, in the mathematical world someone is trying to calculate something.

Dailies

First up, starting the day with a game of chess. Then, moving onto a quick Typeracer match and Monkeytype test to yourself typing quickly, warming up to quickly type out a solution to a Project Euler problem.

That might be quite an intensive task, so next up we’ll cool down a bit with a bit of Sudoku, followed by a fun game of Chessle. Now that your mind has relaxed a bit again, let’s do some Brilliant courses on LLMs and Calculus!

By this time, you probably want to move somewhere else, so let’s do something we can do on the go if you want to: Lichess tactics and Chess.com puzzle. Now that you’ve moved a bit, let’s explore the world in a Geoguessr game and make sure you know the country names in Globle!

Finally, we’ll end this morning’s dailies by making sure you can still program somewhat! Here’s a little list, choose a few to explore today:
